I first met Lakis in 1999 when we worked for the same company. I was (am) a Chartered Surveyor and Lakis sidled up to me and exclaimed "so you're the estate agent then!" I was insulted and intrigued and there began a special friendship.

Ironically in 2003 I became an estate agent and Lakis became my accountant. That is if you can call someone who cared for you like a brother, chastised you like a toddler and loved you like your best buddy but happened to do your books, your accountant.

Tina said it best when she explained "if you weren't a friend you weren't a client"  I think Tina was and will
continue to be part of that philosophy.

I was invited to his house and was made to turn the lamb on the spit (endlessly) and meet his family and friends, I was invited to Greece and was made to meet his friends and family and understand his roots. I was made to feel special.

That was his gift, a sharp comment said with a totally disarming grin could make you feel special.  
I am honoured to have known a special man who will always live in my memory.
